My next stop on my tour of the 51st District brought me to Stahls’ Decorating Fulfillment Center (DFC) just outside of Masontown. Stahls’ DFC is an exclusive supplier to many professional sports leagues and licensed manufacturers, in addition to offering complete e-commerce solutions and state-of-the-art inventory management and secure warehousing. I got an inside look at how this business operates not just here in Fayette County, but also behind the scenes at the NFL draft!

Our next stop on our tour of the 51st Legislative District first started entertaining the people of our area more than a century ago! The State Theatre Center for the Arts in Uniontown has hosted some of the biggest names in music, local children's dance recital and everything in between. House Bill 1300 is Unconstitutional

At its core, House Bill 1300 was written to add a member of the Pennsylvania Long-Term Care Ombudsman’s Office to the Pennsylvania Long-Term Care Council. However, this piece of legislation has been amended beyond recognition. Among its biggest failures is sending hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars to Pennsylvania’s state-related universities, a move that constitutionally requires a two-thirds vote.

I did my best to convince my colleagues to vote against it.

Concerns Over Shapiro’s Automatic Voter Registration

Gov. Josh Shapiro announced his administration will start automatically registering anyone to vote who either obtains or renews their driver’s license or state I.D. I tried my best to address the issues with the move on the House floor. House Democrats blocked it.
